You might be looking for Captain Puto, as played by the real-life Ian Pidgley in Star Trek: Unity.

Ian Pidgley was captain of the Federation starship USS Balaclava. He was born on Earth in 2372 to Amber and Marcus Phillips. (Star Trek: Unity)

Early years[]

Ian was educated at several schools in Southampton, England, Earth. Although not the brightest of children, he managed to get surprisingly high marks, and his parents enrolled him to the Starfleet Juniors school at age eight.

Starfleet Academy[]

Ian struggled at Starfleet. Although he did very well in his education, many fellow cadets made fun of his upbringing. In 2380, at age nine, Ian was given an assignment on the USS Titanic as a Lt. Commander. When that ship was destroyed by a black hole in the Gateway System, Ian was given his first command, the USS Batony Bay.

USS Batony Bay[]

Ian turned out to be a great commander of this Superfreighter and performed many cargo runs before the Batony Bay was destroyed at the Borg Elimination Incident in 2384.

USS Balaclava[]

Ian would serve on the Intrepid-class starship, USS Balavlava, constructed in 2384.
