"In Their Footsteps" was the twenty-fourth "unofficial" episode of Star Trek: Phoenix-X and the twenty-second "unofficial" episode of the fifth season. It was the twenty-fourth Star Trek: Phoenix-X entry for the Star Trek Online: Unofficial Literary Challenge and was the only Star Trek: Phoenix-X entry for the thirty-sixth challenge of those unofficial challenges. It focused on Captain Kronen of the IKS Dragunov.

Summary

Captain Kronen of the IKS Dragunov tries to unite Captain Zang from the IKS Roku of the House of Groth with Captain Nogoth from the IKS Kleckogunam of the House of Tochi.
