Ivark was a Xindi-Reptilian that served as Tactical Officer/Chief of Security on board the USS Constance starting in 2409. (Star Trek: Constance)
Early Life and the Academy[]
Ivark's family was notorious for being militant, dating back to the Xindi crisis. When the Xindi joined the Federation, the family started to make the transition more towards exploration. However, they still had a tendency to serve as security officers.
Ivark was a logical choice for recruitment into Starfleet, but gained a reputation at the Academy. He was also known to have clashed with a Betazoid female named Angelina Dreaca on more than one occasion, and the two had a rivalry that was ended after graduation, when she reportedly died en-route to an assignment on board the USS Sato.
Starfleet Career[]
Ivark started his career in Starfleet on board the USS Oregon, where he served along side his later superior officer Rachel Covaks, both were serving as security officers. Ivark had gained a respect for his companion after she saved his life from a Klingon boarding party.
He would eventually be transferred to the USS Constance, where he would serve as the tactical officer under Captain Nelson, and later Captain Covaks.
USS Constance[]
Ivark joined Rachel on board the USS Kithomer in episode one.
In episode 2, he appeared at the Poker game that Syre was hosting, and was revealed to be a notoriously bad poker player. Being incapable of bluffing, he was about to fold when Reana Corbell came in and offered to take his place, and won the game.
Personality[]
Ivark is one thing above all, aggressive, while he will not harm his fellow crewmembers, he is known for his tendency to assault enemies with quick perception. He is however a brilliant strategist, and while it usually appears that he is just attacking madly, he usually has a plan.
