Jake was born on October 16, 2230 human calendar time on Earth in San Diego, California.

On board the USS Constitution

Before Jake took command of the Star League, he had a successful 5 year mission as Commanding Officer of the USS Constitution. Several officers and crew joined Jake when he got promoted and was given the Star League.

• 2230: Jake is born on Earth in San Diego, California.
• 2246: Jake enters Starfleet Academy
• 2250: Jake graduates Starfleet Academy. He is promoted to Ensign. His first assignment is the USS Republic as a Helmsman.
• 2254: Jake is promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and assigned to the USS Yorktown as a Helmsman.
• 2256: Jake is promoted to full Lieutenant and assigned to the USS Lexington as the Assistant Chief Helmsman.
• 2259: Jake is promoted to Lieutenant Commander and is made Chief Helmsman on board the USS Exeter.
• 2261: Jake is promoted to full Commander and assigned to the USSDefiant as First Officer.
• 2261: Jake is assigned to Starbase 10 as a Weapons Officer.
