Jerry Stanford (also known as Jerry Stanford Jr. and now known as Gerri L Edwards) is a creator, writer, director and actor.
Edwards was a co-writer of Star Trek: Lexington's "All in the Appearances" and is the creator, executive producer and head writer of Starship Valkyrie, where she also plays Captain Edward Stanfield. In addition, the character appears in Project Potemkin: "Closing Time" (live action) and "Destinies" (voice).
Other roles include the voice of Admiral Robert March in Star Trek: Ranger and an appearance as Doctor Vorzok in Star Trek: USS Hathaway,
Gerri has been a huge fan of Star Trek since she was young and her two sons have followed in her footsteps in that regard. Son Jacob plays Lt. Travis Reed in Starship Valkyrie, and Capt. Michael Decker in Starship Ranger and son Jason has done several background voices. His daughter has played a Yeoman and other various voices on the series as well, while granddaughter Faith is the voice of Lt JG Gina Bellamy, from episode 400: "Changes" onward.
Gerri is transgender and transitioned from Jerry Stanford to Gerri Edwards in 2016.
