Cardassian Glinn Jeval Topak (Ilojan transliteration: Çeval Topăk) has served as the chief engineer of the CUW Trager since at least 2367, when he took the opening left after Gul Akellen Macet kicked Dovetz Telle off the ship for attempting espionage aboard the Enterprise-D. (TNG: "The Wounded", Star Trek: Sigils and Unions)

After Telle's firing, Topak discovered and commandeered a network of Obsidian Order spy cameras aboard the Trager that intruded even into the privacy of officers' private bathrooms. This unnerving discovery came in handy during the Dominion War when Gul Macet solicited ideas from his senior officers to capture and replace Vorta representative Arawil. After using the camera network to determine Arawil's personal habits--right down to the fact that her Jem'Hadar guards even watched over her when she showered--Topak proved instrumental in developing a plan to coax Arawil into a confined space where the Jem'Hadar could not follow. He and his team became responsible for engineering a malfunction in Arawil's private head and then transporting the Vorta into cryostasis when she sought relief in a cramped public head off one of the Trager's main corridors. (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions--The Thirteenth Order)

Topak would command the Trager during the battle for Lessek, while Gul Macet and first officer Daro fought on the planet's surface.

Memorable QuoteEdit

"Those Jem'Hadar might be ready to die for the battle, but I somehow doubt throwing themselves upon a plasma-charged waste extractor is high on their list of honorable ways to die."
— Glinn Topak contemplating the Vorta-trapping plan in The Thirteenth Order
