Johannah Jackson

Lieutenant Johannah Jackson is a Starfleet officer from the late 23rd Century & early 24th Century, before being sent to 2366 via transporter accident. (The Unreliable's Light)

Early Life

Johannah was born in 2270.

Sometime when she was young, Johannah and her mother was escaping a slaughterhouse, but only Johannah made it out. Young Johannah was also there to witness what the KARCAAL did to her mother as she escaped.

As an adult in 2295, Johannah joined the SONIC space shuttle project, and was a part of the SONIC-01 shuttle crew. The shuttle was sent through a wormhole and rescued by the USS Excelsior.

After being rescued, Johannah went to Starfleet Academy, where she graduated in 2298.

Career

On The Excelsior (2298-2302)

Johannah was assigned to the USS Excelsior in 2298, immediately after graduation from the academy. During her time on the Excelsior, she frequented an area known as 'The Rec Dec' by crew members. During her time, there was a funny incident where Sulu spilt honey mustard sauce and tea on the captain's chair whilst eating chicken tenders on the bridge, to which a stain remains to this day.

She remained on the Excelsior until 2302, where at the rank of Lieutenant, she was to transfer to the USS Reliable as their navigator... When a transporter accident happened.

On The Unreliable (2366-)

The transporter accident held Johannah in the buffer for 64 years, finally beaming her over in 2366 to the shock of the crew, paticularly Breezie McKormic. A few check ups in sickbay found that she was fine, but has a case of Exspiraloquisis after she spots a ghost over Devoid's shoulder. After a period of adjustment and recovery from expressing her distressing backstory to the EMH & Devoid, she was officiated as the ship's navigator by replacing her old insignia with a current day combadge. After a mission to Deneb V and a transwarp accident, her and the others ended up in Hell. She was among the away team to explore the streets initially, before watching Breezie's attack on Valentino. She was also among the group who met Vaggie Illario after being confused as to why they would land in a junkyard. Johannah helped Breezie in cutting off The Vees' supply chain (namely Velvette's love potion lab and Valentino's computer) before hiding out in another of Valentino's limousines where Vaggie joined her. After Valentino used the limo to head back to his condo, Johannah got out, where her Exspiraloqusis was used to maim, crucify (on a Starfleet Delta) and castrate Valentino before beaming out with Vaggie. When the Unreliable encountered the USS Enterprise-B, she assisted in repairs & helped assemble the initial batch of Sol Torpedoes. ("1701-Back From The Dead")

After that, Johannah was a part of an away team to Altamid to figure out what the energy surge documented by the USS Stargazer 11 years prior was all about. Unfortunately, this led into an encounter with KARCAAL, who killed Johannah's mother in her youth. Despite a bunch of hiding and running, Johannah was kidnapped and taken to the ruined USS Republic, where KARCAAL had made a slaughterhouse from. However, she was rescued by the EMH. Upon returning, she was the one who discovered the USS Franklin, alongside bringing it back to life and becoming the helmsman to break the ship free from Altamid. After the battle with a KARCAAL controlled ship, Johannah reflected on her feelings about the events to Breezie. ("Old Freedom")
