John Boswell

John Boswell was a 24th century Starfleet officer, the father of Richard Boswell and husband of Helen Boswell. He served as the chief engineer of the USS T'Plana-Hath as a commander.

In 2344, John was crippled during a minor skirmish with a hostile alien species and forced to retire from active duty. Boswell accepted a promotion to captain to become a professor of engineering at Starfleet Academy. His son followed in his footsteps and entered the Academy nine years later. (Star Trek: Remington)
