The John Frémont (Aventeur V) was an Aventeur-class mission spacecraft in ISA service during the early- to mid-21st century. It got underway in 2022 for a Grand Tour mission to Jupiter and Neptune, but was recalled in 2026, returning to Earth in 2029. Nomenclature[]
The ship was named after John Charles Frémont (1813-1890), an explorer, military officer and politician of Earth's 19th century. During the 1840s, he led five expeditions into the Western United States of America.
