Joseph Patrick Barranco was a human male born on Pacifica around 2347. He was the younger brother of Timothy, Mary, and Andrew Barranco, and the older brother of Joanna Barranco. He was married to Nicole Yamamoto.
Joe entered Starfleet Academy in 2365, graduating in 2369. He served as an officer for six years, first along the Cardassian border, then aboard several starships. He left Starfleet in late 2375 and joined the Federation Naval Patrol. He returned to Pacifica, where he continued to serve through the 2380s.
