Biography[edit | edit source]

Joshua Gunn is something of a mystery even to his close friends. Joshua assisted in the field training of many officers, including captain Logan MacLeod and commander Solen.

Inspite his relatively low rank Joshua possessed a high security clearance and maintained long-term friendships with many officers who outranked him by several rank grades and was on a first name basis with several members of the Admiralty.

Joshua spent decades of his Starfleet career assigned to classified projects, including Project Unicron, for the Starfleet Corp of Engineers Special Projects Division before being assigned to be the Chief Transporter Technician and Chief Of The Boat on the Federation starship Prometheus.

Prior to his posting on the Prometheus Joshua worked on the design teams of the Luna-class and Incursion projects.

In 2379, Joshua began tutoring crewman Celes Tal and cadet Erin Denali after both sought out his guidance on the suggestion of Logan MacLeod.

Due to their working together and the off-duty tutelage Tal and Joshua developed a close relationship and Joshua came to regard Tal as he would a daughter.

While serving onboard the Prometheus, Gunn was an unofficial member of the senior staff and regularly attended senior staff briefings as per captain Logan MacLeod's standing order. Also while on the Prometheus Gunn was assigned quarters befitting a senior staff member at the order of captain MacLeod.
