Jumper (fighter)

Jumpers were small Hellonesian space and air-craft with advanced features. They had a one- to two-man cockpit and were capable of penetrating Federation shields. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X, Star Trek: Resurrections)

Weapons

The main weapon on a Jumper was the Silencer Beam, which was extremely powerful and could match the odd starship.

Attachment

Jumpers could also be clamped onto the side of ships and used as auxiliary weapons; although this feature was rarely utilized.

Market

Larvekkens have been known to transport and distribute these vessels, although they are meant to be kept within Hellonesian borders.

History

In 2377, an advanced sentient computer virus made temporary home inside one of these Jumpers while it was in transit to be sold. ("Jumpers, Part I")

• In Star Trek: Resurrections, Jumpers were written and referred to as Fighters or Fighter ships.
