The Kalandra sector was a sector located in Federation space.
In 2374, the Dominion launched a successful invasion of Betazed through the Kalandra sector. Considered by Starfleet Intelligence to be too far removed from the Dominion's main supply lines the invasion caught Starfleet by surprise. (DS9: "In the Pale Moonlight")
Headquarters for the Dominion Kalandra-Forces was located on New Xindus, with the Founder Jaffe serving as administrator and Tarska Hesar and Liska serving as military commanders. (The Renewal Offensive)
Based on Cardassian military transmissions decoded by Elim Garak, Starfleet launched a counter-offensive against the Dominion in the sector. (DS9: "Afterimage")
