The Kalium Galaxy is a galaxy located billions of lightyears from the Milky Way Galaxy.
The Kalium galaxy was the furthest galaxy visible from Earth. The USS Dragon-A was the first Federation vessel to visit this galaxy after been accidentally transported there. (Star Trek: Dragon: "The New Frontier")
Although sensor data was lost when the Dragon was destroyed upon returning to Earth, science officers aboard the Dragon gained phenomenal understanding of the life span of a galaxy by comparing visual records of the Kalium Galaxy from Earth, billions of years old due to the speed of light, with current sensor data from the galaxy.
