Lieutenant Commander Karza Tyrune was an operations and line officer in Federation Starfleet service during the late 23rd and early 24th centuries. (Star Trek: Avenger; Avenger News 150 [June, 2015])
Tyrune transferred to the USS Avenger in 2312 and was assigned as her second officer. (Star Trek: Avenger: "A Shining Planet"/"Paired Facets"/"The Beacon"/"An Hour Come Round Again")
Tyrune transferred off Avenger in 2320 to become executive officer of the USS Horizon. She was succeeded as second officer by Captain Lourdes Courtesan. (Avenger News 158 [November, 2020]; Anagénnisi)
Prior Starfleet career[]
Tyrune specialized in starship operations, including helm, navigation, and tactical, at Starfleet Academy, and graduated with the class of 2298. Her first starship assignment was to the cruiser USS Starquest where she was posted as an operations specialist (helm/navigation).
In 2300, she was promoted to lieutenant junior grade and transferred to the frigate Ilyria as a tactical officer. Tyrune was promoted to full lieutenant at age 27 in 2303.
Tyrune transferred to the light destroyer USS Ramis, where she was chief of operations, in 2305.
