The Kazon were a scattered, aggressive, nomadic species in the Delta Quadrant. They were divided into different sects, known as the Kazon Order. Each had possession of different natural resources that they regularly fought each other for. (Star Trek: Voyager)

History[]

By 2372, the Kazon were divided into eighteen sects. (VOY: "Caretaker", "Initiations") The Kazon were known as Species 329 by the Borg, but were regarded as unworthy of assimilation. (VOY: "Mortal Coil", "Relativity")

In 2410, the sect known as the Kazon-Rokka hijacked the IKS B'Cnah and stranded its crew in the Delta Quadrant. Captain Menchez later took command of the IKS Baetal, tracked the sect down, and both he and Sigon scared them off and retook the ship. Unfortunately, due to the firefight brought on by the confrontation, the B'Cnah was damaged beyond repair. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X: "Life and Death")
