el-Ibrahim was born in 2262 in Singapore, Terra (Sol III). She and her friend (and rival) Maria Aguinaldo graduated from the Starfleet Academy Command School in 2290. They both transferred to USS Avenger as security officers. El-Ibrahim's focus was on intelligence gathering. (Star Trek: Avenger: "Belonging")
