Lars Thorsen was a security officer and Security Operations Head of Division aboard the USS Grissom (NCC-638) in 2285. Thorsen was quite handsome and very physically fit. He was also extremely intelligent. Thorsen was a confidant of Commander Stephanie Ottair and had a friendly rivalry with Nurse Seán Murphy over Ensign Monica Gerber. (Star Trek: Grissom)
Thorsen was among those killed when the Grissom was destroyed in 2285 by a Klingon Bird-of-Prey (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)
