Lee Aster was a Starfleet officer in the mid-24th century, husband of Amy Aster and father of Corey Aster. (Star Trek: Hidden Frontier)
Lee married his wife, Amy Suntipah, sometime prior to 2354. On 1 April 2354, Amy gave birth to their only child, Corey.
In 2361, Lee's only brother, Ronald, died of the Rushton infection. (TNG: "The Bonding")
Lee and his wife took custody of their nephew Jeremy Aster after his sister-in-law Marla Aster died on an away team mission while serving aboard the USS Enterprise-D in 2366. (TNG: "The Bonding")
Pressed for officers to man any available ship in light of the Borg attack in 2366, Aster and his wife were both summoned for duty aboard the USS Melbourne to defend the Federation at Wolf 359. The Melbourne was severely crippled at the Battle of Wolf 359 and it was assumed most of her officers were killed in the onslaught. (DS9: "Emissary"; Star Trek: Hidden Frontier; Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Dream a Little Dream of Me")
In 2367, during Corey's shared dream phase, he pulled Lee and Amy Aster, now both assimilated Borg drones, into his dream. With the help of Counselor Daniel Radke, Lee was able to make contact, breaking the hive mentality for a few moments, before succumbing to it again. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Dream a Little Dream of Me")
- Lee Aster's name comes from a post on the Hidden Frontier forums by the actor portraying Corey Aster, J.T. Tepnapa, when asked to "flesh out" his family.
