The Liberation of Betazed was a Federation Alliance offensive against the Dominion held Betazed system during the Dominion War in 2375. (LUG RPG: The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
Following the Battle of the Three Suns the Kalandra sector had finally fallen to the Alliance. With this the Dominion forces occupying Betazed were completely cut off and Starfleet Command organised a final effort to free the planet. It assembled a large force of four Starfleet fleets with multiple wings of Klingon and Romulan warships. Word was passed to the Betazoid resistance and the attack was launched.
The Alliance fleet, led by the USS Enterprise-E, attacked the Dominion's defense perimeter and the resistance launched an assault on the Dominion military headquarters in Medara, destroying it. It took the Dominion several minutes to transfer control to a secondary facility, but this gained the Alliance forces an advantage in the space battle. The Alliance fleet used this momentary confusion to outflank the enemy fleet. With nowhere to run, the Dominion fleet fought to the last ship.
With the skies cleared the Alliance landed troops on the planet and with assistance from the Betazoids rounded up the Jem'Hadar, Breen and Cardassian soldiers on the planet. Betazed was finally free from Dominion occupation.
