Live from the Lyran Frontier was a Starfleet News Service news program, which could be run from the USS Mercutio or from Unity Three Starbase. Its first host was Captain Faith Kingsford, the commanding officer of the ship.
As its name indicated, it featured news from the area near the Federation-Lyran border. It featured one part called the Curio of the Day, where one special area in a servicemember's past serving near the Lyran Star Empire is expanded upon.
