The Longueuil Cup was an alcohol drinking competition who pit Earth collegiate teams against one another. The winner gained the right to represent Terran varsities at the Galactic Drinking Championships.
In an attempt to lure zombies to death, Relm activated an holodeck program that would put the zombies in the middle of the 2291 Longueuil Cup final, pitting the Laval University Rouge-et-Or against the Edouard Montpetit College Lynx. (RIS Bouteina: "Eidolon")
- It is implied that Quebec CEGEPs were eligible to compete in the Longueuil Cup, even though most other competitors were university-level teams instead.
In the late 23rd century, the Longueuil Cup had seven events: beer pong, single (men's and women's) and mixed double, beer mile, men and women and the 4x100m beer relay, men and women. The 2291 edition was held in Quebec City, at the PEPS, since Laval University had a better record than Edouard Montpetit College. An event won by a school granted one point to that school. The University of Pennsylvania Quakers won the Longueuil Cup in 2337 with Sylvia Drummond as its star runner.
