MN-1375 was a barely habitable planetoid that once held a Federation monitoring station. During the opening months of the Dominion War the monitoring station was over run by Dominion forces. The hospital ship, USS Nightingale arrived on scene to evacuate the wounded Federation soldiers. Its escorts, the Excelsior-class, USS Mayweather and USS Calusa, were destroyed during the battle. The Nightingale was also assumed lost until the ship returned to Federation space nearly two weeks later. ("Nightingale's Song")
