Mhirrafv Terrhai

Mhirrafv Terrhai (Rihan: Out of Darkness) is a Star Trek Online fanfic by StarSword, set in the Bait and Switch shared universe. It was written for Star Trek Online: Unofficial Literary Challenge #16: "A Future That Many Will Never See".

The story consists of a pair of lightly-connected vignettes set not long after the end of the Iconian War in 2410, starring the crew of RRW Bloodwing.

Part One

Subadmiral Morgaiah t'Thavrau returns to her adopted homeworld Virinat to lead a Romulan Republic resettlement effort. In a flashback, Morgan justifies herself to Proconsul D'Tan by noting the military and economic benefits for the Republic of possession of Virinat, though her true motive is a personal desire to rebuild her vineyard.

Part Two

Lieutenant Commander Jaleh Khoroushi visits her family home in Shahediyeh, Iran with Subcommander Tovan tr'Khev, and reminisces on the cost of victory over the Iconians.
