Miasha Jenco was a Starfleet Admiral at Starfleet Headquarters in 2752. He was an old mentor to Thomas Garrison. (Star Trek: 001)
History[]
Sometime before 2752, Miasha taught at Starfleet Academy and was an instructor and eventual mentor to Thomas Garrison. Later, he was Garrison's commanding officer. Sometime after that, he attended the wedding for Garrison and Marla and was considered one of two of Garrison's closest people. ("When It Rains...")
In 2752, Jenco clandestinely planted a data rod, for Thomas Garrison to come into possession of, containing the recording of a meeting of Admirals discussing the secrecy of San Francisco Fleet Yards output issues. With those problems happening at the same time as the closing of Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards, the threat of the Alliance to attack and destroy the Federation at the end of said-shut down was a real possibility. His goal was to use Garrison as a leak of the info to the Alliance, so that Starfleet Intelligence would become aware and ultimately advise against the closure of Utopia Planitia. This plan, while successful, came at the cost of his friendship and mentor status with Garrison, who lost respect for Jenco for using him instead of asking him directly. ("New Beginnings")
Sometime later, Jenco was part of the plans to use time travel as a stop-gap measure against the formation of the Alliance, which would have been a violation of the Temporal Prime Directive. While ex-Commander Veran was getting a check-up at Starfleet Medical, she saw Jenco there in passing and observed he was in a very concerned state. Later, when Othoniel Ephraim Rasin was confined to quarters at Starfleet Medical, Admiral Leonard sent a message to Jenco, asking what he should do with Rasin and as a result incriminated himself and Jenco per the time travel plans.
