History[]
Early history[]
Michael Greene was born on Earth in October 2337.
He attended Starfleet Academy from 2355 until 2359.
2367[]
In late 2366 and early 2367, Greene was the chief engineer aboard the Prospect when on the eventual rescue mission in the aftermath of the Battle of Wolf 359. After the battle with the alien ship which caused significant damage to a nacelle, he contacted the bridge after the away team's hasty return to the Prospect to inform his brother and commanding officer Captain John Greene the ship was miraculously repaired.
Greene also helped in the recovery effort at Wolf 359. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")
He served as chief engineer after repairs were completed at Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in mid-2367. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")
Greene accompanied the undercover away team to Enika on Goffan III to determine whether the Jenchum Suzerainty was developing a subspace weapon. He also disseminated a great amount of information at a meeting of senior officers early on in the mission. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Starry, Starry Night")
Later in the same year, he was the person who brought Hahn Jun-Seok his birthday cake. On that same day, he and Kari Eriksson worked to find a way to reduce an anomaly's effects on transporting their away team back from the USS Artemis. The duo found by using a coherent graviton pulse, the tetryon emissions from the anomaly would be reduced, and the away team could be safely beamed back to the ship. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Lady Lazarus")
2370[]
In 2370, he served as chief engineer aboard the USS Shabonee. During this time, he, along with first officer Penelope Koh and counselor Daniel Radke, successfully drove the Boogeyman entity away from the Minnesota. (Star Trek: Shabonee: "The Boogeyman")
Later that same year, he rejoined the Prospect crew after its refit. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Tomorrow")
Star Trek: Pendragon[]
In the Pendragon timeline, Michael Greene held the rank of commander and served aboard the USS Hope in an unspecified role as of 2379. He and Hope commanding officer Kari Eriksson were working on a way to clear up sensors to detect Myhr'an vessels. (Star Trek: Pendragon: Other Knights anthology: "Gravity")
