Minneapolis was a city in the United States of America extant since the early 19th century. Along with St. Paul, they were together known as the Twin Cities.
Patrick Ingrum met with Susan Cassoday when her sister, Katy Cassoday, covered Susan's basketball tournament for the school newspaper. (USS Baldwin: "Storm Front")
The University of Minnesota main in-person campus was located in that city.
Locations[]
Dinkytown[]
Dinkytown was a district to the northwest of the main University of Minnesota campus (East Bank). Faith Kingsford commented that hole #18 at the Pothole Omnium (tournament) was similar to Dinkytown; in addition, she turned down Minnesota due to the substandard nightlife provided at Dinkytown. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Pothole Omnium")
Hennepin[]
In an alternate reality, Amanda Grayson was originally from Minneapolis, and Minneapolis was part of a tri-city area called Minneapolis-St. Paul-Hennepin. (TOS novel: Planet of Judgment)
Little Canada[]
Located to the northeast of the city, Little Canada (French: Petit-Canada) was, until some point in the first half of the 24th century, a town in its own right, along with much of the then-northern suburbs, at which point it merged with Minneapolis. Faith Kingsford was born in the district in the years following the merger. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "Pothole Omnium")
