Miranda Kadohata

Lt. Commander Miranda Kadohata was a 24th century Starfleet officer in the operations division. A human from Cestus III, she was raised in the town of Port Shangri-la. She was married and had three children. Kadohata served aboard the USS Enterprise-D under Lt. Commander Data from 2364 to 2368. She was later posted to the USS Enterprise-E, and was Data's hand-picked successor as second officer. She took over the position in early 2380, following maternity leave on Cestus. Aboard the Enterprise-E, she developed friendships with fellow officers Geordi La Forge, T'Ryssa Chen and Dina Elfiki. After the Borg Invasion of 2381, she decided to remain on assignment to Pacifica, helping with relief efforts, in order to be closer to her family. (TNG novel: Losing the Peace)

Star Trek: Pendragon

In the Pendragon timeline, Lt. Commander Kadohata served as operations officer aboard the Enterprise-E from 2379 through the 2380s. She was a close friend of Lieutenant Taurik. (Star Trek: Pendragon: "Restoration")
