Montgomery Scott was a Terran male who served as chief engineer aboard the ISS Enterprise (NCC-1701). He was one of four crewmembers who crossed over to the prime universe in 2268. TOS: "Mirror, Mirror"

Star Trek Continues[]
Despite fear of punishment, Scotty was intrigued by the peace in the prime universe. Although he tried to explain the peaceful nature of the Federation as weakness, he was persuaded by Spock that such peace was necessary for the Empire. As a result, he joined Spock's mutiny. After the overthrow of Kirk and Spock's assumption of command, Scotty remained chief engineer. (Star Trek Continues: Fairest Of Them All)
