Muhammad (also spelled Mohammed; Arabic: مُحَمَّد) was a human male who lived on Earth from circa 570 CE until his death in 632. He was the founder of the Earth religion Islam and author of its holy book the Qur'an, and believed by Muslims to be God's final prophet.
The library computers aboard USS Enterprise listed Muhammad, along with Stur and Nerid, as an analogous example when describing Chag Gara. (TOS novel: Spock, Messiah!)
Muslim women traditionally wore body coverings (typically a headscarf or hijab) to honor Muhammad's wives. (Bait and Switch: "Mhirrafv Terrhai, Part II")
