The Narajah Protectorate was the government of the Narajah species located in the Alpha Quadrant. In the late 2370s and early 2380s, they fought a war against the forces of the Merokon Unification. The war spilled over into Federation territory, thus requiring the Federation to intervene and bring an end to the war. Captain Elena Jarvis of the Federation Starfleet starship USS Elijah Matthewson led the negotiations that ended the war. Her role in the mediation was greatly lauded and she was rewarded with the captaincy of the USS Enterprise.
