Neh'vor class

The Neh'vor class was a type of science vessel that saw service with the Romulan Star Empire during the 24th century. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 5: Starships of the Romulan Star Empire)

The Neh'vor was developed at the same time as the Tirethi-class scout and shared several design features with that vessels giving both ships a similar appearance. The Neh'vor had a differently shaped command hull from the Tirethi and a deeper ventral section. It also had an additional structure attached aft that held laboratories and a shuttlebay.

Apart from science missions the class was also used for weapons and systems tests. During times of war the class was sometimes pressed into service as a scout.
