"New Ewe On Deck" is the first episode of The Unreliable's Light's Third Year. It consists of Chapters 38-44 of the original story.

Summary

When Johannah, a new crewmember arrives on the newly upgraded Unreliable 64 years too late with mystery surrounding her, can Breezie and the crew help them out and adjust to the new era the ewe has arrived in?

Trivia

• This episode was originally not the first, replacing the original premiere which was a storyline where Breezie & Wally get tuvixed.
• To determine the results of the Tetris game played between Breezie & Johannah, 0Devoid & Fateweaver actually played a game of Tetris.
• This is the 2nd TUL episode to mention an Original Series crew member, that being Hikaru Sulu as Johannah's old captain. The first being James T. Kirk in Convergencies, where Breezie calls him an idiot.
• This is the also the 2nd TUL episode to mention a Next Generation crew member, with Geordi La Forge being a part of the team responsible for upgrading the Unreliable while taking some time off from the USS Valkyrie.
• This is also the TUL debut of Tyson, the shuttle that the Unreliable had taken from the USS Phoenix-X, which we see Breezie finishing the refit.
• This also reveals a part of Devoid's past, revealing an old ally he had called Jacob.
