Night Seifer was a Starfleet officer, host-clone of Night Seifer and joined-Trill with the Seifer symbiont. He began his symbiotic existence in 2397, after being re-joined to his originator's symbiont which also led to him taking command of the USS Phoenix-X. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)

- Main article: Night Seifer
Night Seifer (clone)[]
In 2385, while on a time-displaced Seifer symbiont-led bender of thievery and illegalities, Night Seifer, knowing death was immanent, was able to clone his host body in secret from his own symbiont's knowledge. After his creation and the original Night host's subsequent death, the clone Night host went to Starfleet Academy and joined Starfleet.
Sometime before 2397, the clone Night host was serving at rank Lieutenant Commander aboard the USS Atlantis.
In 2397, when Captain Aeris realized what was going on, she transferred him off the ship onto the USS Zephyra to locate the USS Phoenix-X and have him joined with the Seifer symbiont. Upon rejoining, the revived Night Seifer was given command of the Phoenix-X by Admiral Cloud. ("Partial Recall")
In 2399, Seifer tried to win the Captains of Task Force Epsilon over with Doctor Lox's variant Genesis device but instead unleashed several mashed up creatures, the most threatening being Moosaval, a mashup of a mugato, sehlat and valebeast. He was able to pacify it with the creation of a final, disarmingly cuddly creature and eventually left Moosaval in the hands of Admiral Cloud. ("Marauding Moosaval")
During this year, it was revealed Seifer was remote-interning with Admiral Theseus on fleet re-assignments and when the senior staff of the Phoenix-X were about to reassign themselves, they discovered Seifer had mistakingly assigned a plethora of Inquiry-class ships to support the conflict between the Romulans, Jean-Luc Picard and the USS Zheng He at Coppelius. ("Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Record", PIC: "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2")
When he and Aeris agreed to 'go steady', the night before the ceremony, Seifer, Kugo, Armond and Red took an unintentional dose of polywater that led them to a wild night of hijinks and caused Seifer to go missing the next day. He was soon found on the Bridge in time for the ceremony. ("The Hangover")
In 2400, Qu and Seifer struck a deal where Seifer could visit an alternate reality where he was never in command while Qu would be allowed to run his own trials of humanity. Unfortunately, upon visiting an alternate reality, they came to see that everyone's alternate physical bodies were different, indicating Qu's inability to dimension-hop to realities on a spectrum closer to the Prime universe. Due to this failure, Seifer was returned home. ("Hop, Skip and a Jump")
Later, despite Admiral Theseus' appreciation for Seifer's work as a remote intern, Theseus impeded the Phoenix-X's attempt to stop Sayjan from amplifying the temporal anomaly Sacred Disorder in the Tilonian system. ("Celestial Dynamics")
In 2404, Seifer, while attempting to stop Theseus from gaining Omni power through the transformation of the USS Atlantis-R in the Tilonian system, caused a fleet of various starships to be caught in a massively charged molecular reversion field that turned everyone in it younger by several years with memory loss. This action damaged the clone Night host, prompting the need for a symbiont transfer. ("Teaching the Next Generation", "Kobayashi Maru", "Celestial Dynamics")
