For Wrightson's Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions universe counterpart, see Noah Wrightson.

In the Pendragon universe, Noah Wrightson was the seventh commanding officer of the USS Cantabrian (NCC-24705) between 2369 and at least 2379.

In 2379, Wrightson attended the new Deep Space 9's commissioning ceremony after Project Restoration's completion. On the Promenade, he met Daniel Radke, also attending the ceremony, representing the USS Cuxhaven's crew.

Wrightson joined Radke and other Starfleet commanding officers aboard the USS Advantage to talk about the Myhr'an rise in violence and possible M'Tar influence on them. Admiral John Greene ordered Wrightson and the others to have their ships join a task force to determine whether the Myhr'an were, in fact, being influenced.

Radke joined Wrightson aboard the Cantabrian as Starfleet only diverted six ships to the task force, and Radke lost his command in the process. Wrightson was assisted by both Radke and Prospect-A commanding officer Anne Tedesco in understanding the M'Tar as he was the least experienced with that race.

Wrightson felt an attraction to Radke and brought a bottle of Saurian brandy to the latter's quarters where they talked about the M'Tar. They began a relationship that night.

Under Wrightson's command, the Cantabrian broke through the Myhr'an fleet's defensive line surrounding Federation member planet Rhaandaran. He ordered the Cantabrian to engage the Myhr'an super battle cruiser and Myhr'an planet killer as a result. (Star Trek: Pendragon: Other Knights anthology: "Gravity")
