Norah Satie was a Starfleet Rear Admiral and won the presidency of the Federation in the United Trek fan fiction universe.
Canon[]
Satie was born to Starfleet judge Aaron Satie sometime in the late 23rd or early 24th century. (TNG: "The Drumhead")
As an admiral, she commanded Jean-Luc Picard to take command of the starship USS Enterprise-D in 2364. (TNG: "All Good Things...")
Later in the same year, she helped uncover the conspiracy at Starfleet involving neural parasites.
Three years later, she helped investigate an accident involving the Enterprise's warp core. The investigation grew into a "witch hunt", climaxing with her accusation that Picard was a traitor. Admiral Thomas Henry subsequently halted the inquiry, and Satie's reputation was severely damaged as a result. (TNG: "The Drumhead")
United Trek fan fiction universe[]
In early 2376, Satie declared she was running for president of the Federation. Conservative groups rallied behind her.
In that same year, she survived two assassination attempts in a few days time, both planned by Section 31. They feared her only because she was not under their influence.
Upon winning the race, she halted new starship production and began a "fix the Federation first" policy.
