Norin class

The Norin-class light cruiser were small warships used by the Cardassian Union in the 24th century.

The Norin class was designed as a reply to the small powerful starships such as the Defiant class that started to enter service in Starfleet. The Norin was reasonably armed and heavily shielded. The class was also faster than most other Cardassian designs at the time and were used to move ahead of the larger Cardassian cruisers and soften up a target for their larger brethren to finish off.
