The Omni (sometimes referred to as omni'X) were partial-omnipotent beings; various mortals throughout the galaxy that were bestowed a fraction of omnipotent power by the post-Q beings known as the X with the intent that those mortals would learn and grow with their power to one day ascend to their own continuum. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X)
History[]
Beginnings[]
In 2376, after a defiant Q, self-named as X, was prematurely released from a small prison chamber recovered by the USS Phoenix-X, then confronted by Q, X sacrificed himself and transferred his powers to Daniel. As Daniel became an X, and considered close enough to a Q to be hunted by the "Q Hunter" species known as the Klokian and their creation, Sonan, more Qs became inspired and became able to change their names to X, with the intent to one day create the X Continuum. ("The X Continuum", "Fight Bringers")
This new governance prompted two actions. First, an X to severely reduce Daniel's powers to bring him down to an Omni status, in which he would have to grow and earn his way to the continuum and, second, many of the new X to, likewise, bestow parts of their power to mortals, turning them into Omni, for the same growth goals. During this process, that first X follower diverted the power that was reduced from Daniel into an iso-star, in which the feeding would continue on to the next year, in the hopes of creating an Omni Time bubble. ("Vengeance", "Avalon Battlefield, Part I")
Omni Spread[]
In 2377, an X disguised in a Starfleet uniform approached Kuru in a combat training arena at Starfleet Academy and gave him powers, having found him worthy and indicating he was one of many mortals that were given the same. This turned Kuru into an Omni, as well as others like him, with the forced aspirations to one day join the X Continuum. ("Uprising")
During this year, the previously severely reduced power from Daniel, that X took, was fully fed into the iso-star, erupting it near the Sililian raider Raptor and exploding into the year-long Omni battle zone known as Omni Time. ("Avalon Battlefield, Part I")
In 2378, an Omni named Cora confronted Daniel on Morcas and fought him to gain her own experience and grow her power. During a visit to Rotonro VIII, Daniel was confronted by an Omni named Zargon for the same reasons until Zargon was momentarily intercepted by Klokian and hit with a form of energy that acted as a tracker, with Klokian's intentions to track him. While on a mission to the Tree planet, Daniel came witness to an Omni fight between Mariana and Shadow Flare, in which Klokian, once again, injected Mariana with a tracker. The Phoenix-X later tracked Klokian's Larvekken freighter Xukezeth to where Omni Time was located, where both Q and Klokian struggled to get in. ("Avalon Battlefield, Part I")
Era of Rein[]
In 2393, a group of Omni, led by Muko, illegally settled on Arloff IX to live and grow in their powers in order to one day join the continuum. They soon descended into a civil war with the Arloffians, who turned to cybernetics and negative energy to enhance themselves on the battlefield. The Arloffians sent a distress signal which brought the Phoenix-X into it to discover that negative energy generators surrounding a battlefield was causing an imbalance and surge, disrupting the Omni until an ancient platform and artifact was activated below them. ("Triple Phoenix")
Future[]
In the 26th century, a time-travelling Captain Cell confronted a rogue Agent Rave who alluded to the fact that something or an event affected the Omni of this era. ("Temporal Doom! Part I")
In the 36th century, the Omni were at a war with the Klokian that encompassed the entire galaxy. ("Vitality")
