On The Line is the eighth episode of the first season of the fan fiction series Star Trek: Odyssey.
Plot
During an away mission, Lt. Commander Zofchak is incapacitated by a creature that has clung onto his neck. To make matters worse, the runabout came under fire by an Imperial starship and was left floating in space with out main power. One pilot is dead and the other is unconscious. Lt. Commander Merriell, Lt. Commander Sato and Lieutenant McKenzie are the only ones able to move but Merriell is the only one with the knowledge to fix the runabout. While Merriell rushes to bring life support back online, Sato and McKenzie struggle to figure out a way to get the creature of the chief engineer's neck before it completely drains the life from him.
