Pagad Ryshan

According to the traditional Bajoran naming style a person's surname comes before their given name, hence Pagad is the surname and Ryshan is the given name.

Lieutenant Pagad Ryshan was the operations manager of the Federation starship USS Gustav P. Remington. (Star Trek: Remington: "Inceptum")

Early life

Born during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor to Turis and Mira, Pagad was one of the first Bajorans to enroll in Starfleet Academy. His admission came shortly before Bajor was admitted to the Federation, so it was sponsored by Captain Volbas, commanding officer of the USS Oracle.

USS Oracle

After graduation from the Academy, Captain Volbas requested that Pagad be assigned to his ship as an operations officer. He served in that capacity for four years as both an ensign and lieutenant junior grade until his promotion to lieutenant, at which time Captain Richard Boswell chose him as the first operations manager for the USS Gustav P. Remington.
