Paul Cutty

Commander Paul Cutty was a 23rd century Starfleet officer, a veteran of the USS Kongo and security chief aboard the recrewed USS Exeter. (Starship Exeter)

Early life and career

Paul Cutty joined the Starfleet Marines when he was 18 and received basic training at Mooncamp Langrenus. After a three-year tour of duty, he was accepted into Starfleet Academy.

The Kongo missions

Cutty became close friends with John Garrovick during their service together aboard the Kongo.

Relationships

Cutty can be a prankster at times, a tendency which often meets with the disapproval of the Exeter's executive officer, Jo Harris. During their early missions together, there was a recurring tension between Cutty and Commander Harris due to Cutty's initial assumption that her promotion to the first officer's position aboard Exeter was undeserved. Over time, however, Cutty found this belief unfounded, and the two developed a deep respect for each other.
