Background information
- The Klokian timeship was used to go back in time and stop the Phoenix-X from contacting Voyager. The Klokian timeship was last seen in the Season 2 opener "Secret Shuttles, Part IV". It originated from the episode "Fight, Part III".
- At the end of the episode, despite all the Phoenix-X's efforts to keep Voyager in the Delta Quadrant, the crew of Voyager find thier own way home as per the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Endgame".
- The Phoenix creature seen in the episode, and title name, is based on the same creature in mythology.
