Prime Directive

The Prime Directive refers to Starfleet General Order 1. It states that no Starfleet personnel are permitted to interfere in the internal affairs of another species and their natural development.

Violations

• In 2364, Template:Swfp violated the Directive by becoming a prominent environmental scientist and assisting the pre-warp civilisation on Template:Swfl in developing cleaner energy alternatives. He also worked on producing a weather control system, replicator and transporter technology to help combat the global warming issue faced on the planet. While he was not a member of Starfleet, since it was a Federation sponsored mission he agreed to abide by the Directive. He was extracted from the planet by a team from the USS Winston.
