Procyon (also known as Alpha Canis Minoris) is a binary star in the Beta Quadrant about 11.46 light-years from Earth.
It is the home system of the Andorians. (Star Trek Star Charts)
The Ascension-class dreadnoughts USS Tai Shan and USS Leander were scrapped at Procyon some years after the ratification of the Khitomer Accords. (Hobbyist's Guide to the UFP Starfleet, Part 1b)
In an alternate timeline, the Battle of Procyon V, fought in the 26th century over Procyon V, was the final battle in the invasion of the Sphere Builders, in which the transdimensional aliens' encroachment into the Milky Way Galaxy was turned back by the forces of the Federation, led by the USS Enterprise-J.
