Rainbow Factory

"Rainbow Factory" is the second episode of The Unreliable's Light's Second Year. It consists of Chapters 28-34 of the original story.

Summary

When traces of a toxic substance last found in 2228 are picked up by the Unreliable's sensors, an away team goes to investigate the source, unaware of the horrors lurking within the walls of the facility... and that they aren't the second to find it.

Trivia

• This episode was born out of spite. With 0Devoid being fustrated that many of the attempts he saw at the Rainbow Factory idea were mediocre at best, leading to him making a proof of concept sample that would eventually become the second paragraph of Chapter 28.
• The USS Andromeda & its captain, Damana Levian, were both created by 0Devoid's former friend, WeirdDreams.
• A lot of the details about Chroma & Agent Rainbow were done by Fateweaver, the latter serving as a secondary antagonist thoughout.
• This episode would alter Breezie's personality temporarily to a more agressive and unstable one temporarily due to the affects of Agent Rainbow.
• It would also show that Breezie is, in fact, Bisexual. As Captain Levian stated that her sister and Breezie had dated sometime prior to the events of the story.
