Early years
Ravek was born in the P’Jem system. He attended Starfleet Academy and was assigned to the USS Horizon.
USS Mariner
As chief engineer aboard Mariner, Ravek’s duties ranged from making the duty shift roster for engineering personnel to advising the captain on possible solutions for technical problems. It also was Ravek’s responsibility to ensure the starship was functioning at optimum capacity. All other engineers reported to him, and he supervised all projects where Mariner’s systems were upgraded.
Relationships
Tara Leilani
Ravek met Tara Leilani while serving on the Horizon. She recommended him to Captain Jenan Gage for the position of chief engineer on Mariner. The two knew each other quite well. Ravek recognized that Leilani interacted differently with him than with others, but was never willing to face any emotions. ("A New Threat")
Family
Ravek’s younger sister, Ratel, died when they were young. Ravek never shared the exact circumstances surrounding his sister’s death, but he received her Katra. ("A New Threat")
