Richard Burtt

Early life before Starfleet

Rick was born on July 28, 2228 human calendar time on Earth in Chicago, Illinois.

Chronology

• 2228: Rick is born on Earth in Chicago, Illinois.
• 2246: Rick enters Starfleet Academy
• 2250: Rick graduates Starfleet Academy. He is promoted to Ensign. His first assignment is the USS Lysander as an Engineer.
• 2253: Rick is promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and assigned to the USS Columbia as the Assistant Chief Engineer.
• 2257: Rick is promoted to full Lieutenant and assigned to the USS Endeavor as the Assistant Chief Engineer.
• 2258: Rick is assigned to the USS Saratoga as the Assistant Chief Engineer.
• 2262: Rick is promoted to Lieutenant Commander and is assigned to Starbase 10 as a Senior Engineer.
• 2266: Rick is promoted to full Commander and assigned to the USS Constitution as the Chief Operations Officer. 
• 2270: Rick is promoted to Captain and is the Captain of Engineering of the USS Star League.
