Rock and roll was a musical genre from the second half of 20th century Earth, distinguished by a contempt for authority and status quo. It was also quite common on Simpson's Planet. However, unlike Earth, people who wanted to become successful rock and roll performers on Simpson's Planet tended to attend university, sometimes even to a doctorate level.
