History[]
Gul Zejil Rebek commanded the Romac as of 2375. (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions: The Thirteenth Order)
The Romac was one of the three warships in the vicinity of Septimus III when the Klingon fleet attacked. Immediately coming under devastating fire from the Klingons, the Romac quickly lost shields and sustained heavy structural damage, only surviving thanks to a gamble by Gul Berat of the Sherouk that he could tractor the ship and warp it away in spite of the damage both ships had suffered. None of the three ships--the Romac included--were able to put a dent in the Klingon attack force, nor render any aid to the Eleventh Order on the planet below...only bear witness to the slaughter.
Following the Septimus Massacre, the Sherouk towed the Romac to the shipyard at Lessek, where following repairs, Gul Rebek and her crew--who had seen the ugliest side of the Dominion "alliance"--prepared for open rebellion. (Star Trek: Sigils and Unions: The Thirteenth Order)
