The Romulan Confederacy was the breakaway government formed when several hard-line members of the Romulan Star Empire chose to oppose the newly-brokered peace between the Empire and the Federation. Led by Praetor Revanok, the Confederacy did not pursue an outwardly aggressive policy, but was known to swiftly punish anyone who intruded upon their territory.
Their navy, which was formed from elements of both the Star Navy and Tal Shiar who defected with the leaders, was known as the Confederate Fleet. The Confederate Fleet's flagship was the RCS Notarak and it was led by Admiral Letan.
